There’s been so much interest in our recent interview with Nic Thomas, UK Managing Director of Changan, that we decided to make it available as a standalone episode!
 
Changan will be a new name to many pod listeners, but it’s a well-established brand in China and throughout Asia. The carmaker launches in the UK in September, in time for the 75 plate-change.
 
Nic has been with the business in a European capacity for 18 months, before which he held senior UK and global roles at Nissan and Ford.
 
What makes Changan different to other new entrant Chinese brands is that it already has a presence in the UK with an R&D centre in Birmingham, which has been operational for 15 years!
 
With the brand just weeks away from launch, Nic discusses its strategic and network plans with Curtis and Phil exclusively on the Motor Trade Radio podcast, powered by MOTORS.
